“July 1st (the 182nd Day of the Year) marks Second Second Half of the Year Day – a chance to step back, evaluate your year so far with your goals and objectives (never mind the new year’s resolutions which likely didn’t last until February…) and to take action to get back on track if necessary.
It’s a great opportunity to do some hard thinking over your finances, your diet, your career and other aspects of your life that you might want to improve. Make the second half of the year count!”
Those comments were found on the site Days of the Year about July 1st. They fit perfectly with my thoughts as I look back at yet another month of still doing the same old routines and nothing new. Work, home to read or watch tv, grocery shopping and once in a while taking a drive for different errands. Oh yeah, and being online reading blogs, watching videos, Facebook & the other media sites. So, I’m taking today to heart and really re-evaluating what I want to accomplish this year, even with all that has changed in our regular way of life. I might work on the lists below or decide to do different stuff, but either way, I WILL get out of this rut I got into this first half of the year. Time to embrace the new and work on living life to the fullest.

Trying to post on Mondays and listen to 20 songs each week.
Breweries, Cocktails, & Wineries: See posts over at “My Drinktopia”
Didn’t go to any in June. I should take a look at the cocktail list and be my own bartender to try some of those.
Movies: current movie challenge: “1001 Movies to Watch Before you Die”
New plan, I’m not going to list 12 at a time here anymore. You’ll see a list of the movies I had watched in June.

Currently reading = All the King’s Men by Robert Penn Warren
I’m always open to suggestions for any of these categories.
